Washington County Hosts Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

The Washington County Board of Supervisors is sponsoring a free Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Greenville City Barn at 502 Mill Road in Greenville (right off Highway 82). The event is sponsored in part by a grant by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. This event is just one of the strategies outlined in the county's Solid Waste Management Plan, developed by the county with consultant assistance from Johnstone & Associates.
